Trusted sites are used to indicate web sites that you trust. By adding the InfiniTime 7.0 website to your trusted sites you are implying that information and files from this web site are safe. Trusted Sites allow you to use lower security settings for sites that you trust while keeping you protected during regular web browsing. Remember, this section is purely informational. The below settings are configured during installation on the InfiniTime Server and require no action from the user.

 

Click on Tools as shown below.

 

 

Click on Internet Options.

 

 

Click on the Security tab.

 

 

Click Trusted Sites.

 

 

Click the Sites button.

 

 

Uncheck the box that says, “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone” if your server does not have a secure certificate.

 

 

Technical Note: HTTPS refers to the use of Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) with additional security measures in order to protect sensitive information. In order for a web server to use HTTPS the Administrator of the server must setup a secure certificate. HTTPS is not required for InfiniTime 7.0

Type the address for the InfiniTime website into the box as shown below.

 

 

Click Add.

 

 

Verify that the InfiniTime website has been added to the trusted sites.

 

 

Click Close to exit the Trusted Sites window.

 

 

Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
